Thanks for the Party, Arti!

The 164 Wilson Food Pantry was one of a handful of Connecticut food pantries selected by Arti Dixon to be the fortunate recipient of food items collected from his 1st Annual ("H.O.P.E.") Help Our People Event!  Arti is a highly renowned percussionist and has faithfully used his musical gifts to help others in need for over 20 years.  This amazing event, held on April 10th at The Woodwinds in Branford, CT, featured live music performed by the Arti Dixon Big Band and included a variety of entertainers from singers (Cookie Thomas, Tony Aiardo) to tap dancers (Paris Mann, Kirby Ward).  It was an evening we will never forget!

Special thanks to Cookie Thomas for delivering food items collected at the event.  Cookie cheerfully made a very appreciated delivery to the Pantry bright and early the next morning - all after leading the Arti Dixon Big Band with the smoothest vocals you've ever heard!
